Job Description

Thinfilm is seeking a Sales Operations Analyst to support Thinfilm’s Global Sales and Business Development (BD) teams with order-to-cash management, reporting, auditing and sales administration. This position will report to the Sales Operations Manager and work closely with Sales, BD, Marketing, Software, Product, Finance, Supply Chain, Backend Manufacturing & Engineering, and other internal stakeholders globally. The successful candidate will become an integral part of a fast-paced team with opportunities to make a positive impact on our growing business. 

Key Responsibilities

  • Process sales orders in an efficient and timely manner and ensure “no revenue left on the table”. Activities include quote validation, customer setup, order entry for direct and web orders, inter-company transactions, NFC tag programming in Cloud platform, and initiating the shipping process
  • Administer and facilitate the sales process and support Sales/BD with systems, tools and reports for opportunity reviews and account planning
  • Provide accurate regular reporting and analytics in support of Sales, BD and Executive Management teams
  • Fulfill sample requests through internal material request/transfer, light assembly of demo kits, and demo sample shipment
  • Act as a liaison between Sales/BD and internal teams for sales related matters
  • Work with Sales Operations Manager to improve operational processes and system workflows for better efficiency when necessary
  • Collaborate with other functional teams on ad hoc tasks and projects
  • Conduct export screening and ensure export compliance with government laws and regulations
  • Comply with internal and external audit requirements 

Required Skills/Experience

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Finance/Accounting, or equivalent experience
  • 2+ years of sales operations experience is preferred; experience in semiconductor or other hi-tech manufacturing environment is a plus
  • Strong skills in Microsoft Office suite, especially in Excel and PowerPoint
  • Demonstrate a good understanding of sales processes and have knowledge in international trade and export compliance
  • Must be collaborative and possess solid interpersonal skills with the ability to work well with all levels of internal stakeholders
  • Must be highly organized, detail oriented and with a “can-do” attitude
  • Experience with NetSuite, or other mainstream ERP systems
  • Experience with Salesforce.com CRM a plus
